Before you decide to discontinue services, please be advised that we have plenty of options to adjust your service agreement without having to end services altogether. Feel free to reach out to us to explore the best solutions for your situation.
However, if you decide that early termination is the right choice for you, here's some useful information:
Your service agreement is set for a minimum duration of 12 months.
Annual Third-Party Services: To provide you with the best resources, we utilize several third-party services that require annual subscriptions. We secure these services upfront, ensuring consistent service and favorable pricing, and unfortunately, these fees are non-refundable.
Front-Loaded Workload: A significant portion of the work, including research, strategy development, scheduling, and creating the bulk of your marketing materials and written content, is completed in the initial months of the project. This intensive work upfront is crucial for setting a strong foundation and to working efficiently.
Cost Management for Your Benefit: By distributing the cost of this substantial early effort over a 12-month period, we ensure affordability and avoid overwhelming you with a large initial invoice. This allows for a balanced approach to investment and returns as your marketing strategy takes effect.
Early Termination - Financial Adjustment
In the event that Client elects to terminate this Agreement prior to its full term, DotCom will reduce the remaining financial obligation by an amount up to 18.5% of the agreed monthly fee, applied to each remaining unused month of the Agreement. This adjustment accounts for third-party service fees and forecasted internal labor costs that will no longer be incurred. This deduction is calculated on a per-month basis and does not multiply or compound over the remaining contract duration.
Core Fee Responsibility
Despite these deductions, the majority of the fee remains owed due to the extensive upfront work and non-refundable third-party service fees detailed earlier. For instance, with a monthly invoice of $3,000, you would be responsible for (a minimum of) $2,445 per month for the remaining duration of your contract.
While we protect our exclusive web graphics, rest assured that many aspects of your online presence remain completely yours, regardless of where your digital journey leads. As long as your account is in good standing (meaning there is no outstanding balance and you have satisfied the 12-month service term), the list below are items that you are permitted to take with you.
Ownership of Paid Graphics
You retain the right to use any graphics, logos, or characters that were specifically commissioned and fully paid for as separate invoiced items.
Custom Fence Graphics
All custom graphics that were made by DotCom Global Media or any of our partners are the property of DotCom. Our graphics were provided for your use as an active client of DotCom.
